The Drug List

At the beginning of Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte's war on drugs, he asked local government officials to make a list.

The list contained names of alleged drug users and pushers in every city, town, and village in the country.

A few weeks after he sat in power, people from the list were killed. Many were killed by police, others were killed by unknown vigilantes.

Within two years, about 20,000 people had been targeted. Most of them remain on the list. This is their attempt to get out of it.

You must remember that those who are already in shabu [meth] for almost one year, they are dead. They are the living walking dead. They are of no use to society anymore.
